Edgmont Supervisor, Elected Judge to Step Down as Supervisor

Township supervisors will appoint a replacement.

Edgmont Township Supervisor William "Chip" Mackrides, a Republican, will step down as supervisor in January when he is sworn in as a newly elected Delaware County Court of Common Pleas Judge, according to the Delaware County News Network.

Mackrides, along with Republican Richard M. Cappelli beat out Democrats Nancy Walker and Steve Chanenson for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in the November Election

Edgmont Supervisors Ron Gravina and Joe Conan will appoint someone to fill the vacancy, according to the Delaware County News Network
