Electronic Recycling Event Saturday

Four Delco municipalities are coming together to help recycle your junk.

BROOMALL–Do you need to get rid of an old TV, but in an environmentally friendly way?

Marple, in conjunction with Haverford, Edgmont and Newtown townships, is hosting a recycling day at the Old Marple School yard at West Chester Pike and Malin Road—across from the Broomall Fire Co.—on Saturday, Oct. 6.

The event is free and open to all residents in the area and will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The following items will be accepted at the event (large appliances will not be accepted):

  • TVs
  • computers
  • laptops
  • small appliances
  • microwaves
  • cameras
  • cell phone
  • air-conditioners
  • calculators
  • typewriters
  • telephones
  • fax machines
  • monitors
  • keyboards
  • computer mice
  • dehumidifiers
