Free Parking in Media Black Friday, Saturday

There will be free parking in Media Borough's shopping district on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, Nov. 29-30. 

Shoppers can enjoy free parking within the shopping district and the Olive Street parking garage on both Friday and Saturday.

However, the three-hour time limit will be enforced. 

The three-hour parking limit will be enforced more than it has been in the past in order to benefit the retailers and prevent drivers from parking in prime spots all day. 

Parking is permitted for a maximum of three hours in Zone 1 (short-term parking), except at Zone 4 or quick stop meters, where the time is limited to 15 minutes. In Zone 2 (borough parking lots) and Zone 3 (all other meters), there is no time limitation.

In the near future, Media Borough will soon see more enforcement of the parking meters in the downtown area, so enjoy the free parking this Friday and Saturday.
