Media Patch will be covering and live on Friday.
We will be using the Cover It Live application where readers can see real time updates (just like we did for Hurricane Irene) and participate in the conversation themselves. We want to hear from you. Tell us what you're seeing and upload your own photos as the parade passes you.
Our Live Blog coverage will begin around 10:30 a.m. and we will be sending live updates and photos of all the parade happenings and Biden coverage we can.
The parade will begin at 11:11 a.m. at State Street and Edgmont Avenue. It will stop two times for the rifle salute, and playing of "Taps" to honor fallen soldiers, at both State and Jackson Streets in front of the war memorial, as well as in front of
The Vice President and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, are said to speak at 12:30 p.m. in front of the County Courthouse.
There are two ways to view our Live Blog coverage, check it out right here on the homepage and watch the instant updates come in. Or if you'll be away from a computer, you can keep track of the day's events by using the Cover It Live (CIL) app on your smartphone.
In order to use the CIL app on your phone, you'll need to first download the free application. Once you have it downloaded, search for the event, "Media Patch: Joe Biden Visits Media" and click on the event. From there you should see all our live coverage. (Note: You will not be able to view CIL from your smartphone at media.patch.com).
So be sure to tweet, comment and upload your own photos on Media Patch on Friday. We want to hear from you.
