Public Hearing on RTM Natural Gas Request Continued

The public hearing will continue at a future Middletown Township Council meeting.

A public hearing regarding the Rose Tree Media School District request to upgrade its school bus facility to dispense compressed natural gas will be continued on Jan. 27 in Middletown Township.

Middletown Township Council must approve a conditional use variance requested by the school district, in order for the project to move forward. The public hearing began on Jan. 13.

If approved, the bus facility at Penncrest High School on Barren Road would be converted from diesel fuel to dispense compressed natural gas to the district's eight existing buses and 15 new buses, according to the Delaware County News Network.
