See How Media Patch Voted in the General Election

Democrat Bob Casey is Media Patch's choice in U.S. Senate and Republican Pat Meehan for U.S. House of Representatives in Pennsylvania 7th Congressional District.

Voters in the Media Patch area were split in their votes for President of the United States. Nationally and in Pennsylvania, President Barack Obama was re-elected to a second term but here in Media Patch the votes weren't so simple.

Media Borough and Upper Providence Township voted to re-elect Obama but Middletown and Edgmont townships voted for former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney as their pick for President in the November election. (All four of these municipalities had 100 percent of machines reporting by 1:30 p.m. Wednesday).

Delaware County, which has a large Republican population, voted to re-elect Obama with 165,206 votes, compared to Romney's 105,450.
