Cast Announced for "Death on the 16th Fairway" Play at The Media Theatre

The premiere is part of Media Borough's Golf Month

The cast has been announced for the new play “Death on The 16th Fairway”, which premieres at The Media Theatre June 5-16 and is part of Media Borough’s Golf Month Celebration due to Delaware County’s hosting of the US Open this year.

Conceived and written by avid golfer and investment adviser Art Leahy, it is the story of Ryan’s Way Country Club, an exclusive golf, dining, and fitness facility. The show is a fictional creation based on Leahy’s behind-the-scenes experience as a golf club member and financial professional.

In the show, being produced during the US Open held at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore. a body is discovered at Fader’s Bog on the course’s signature hole, Hole 16.  The story takes off from that point, with interesting—and, at times, humorous—characters as everyone tries to figure out what has happened during the Ryan’s Way Country Club 50th Anniversary Celebration.
