Media Theatre Gift Cards—the Perfect Gift All Year Long

Give a gift that needs no ironing, washing, or refrigeration.

Gift cards. They don't need ironing, or to be refrigerated, frozen, or sealed in tupperware. Nor do they need to be hung up in a closet. And they don't need to be wrapped in a big colorful box with ribbons and bows. Yet, for many, they make the perfect gift.

The has gift cards available all year long, and most are sold during the holiday season. They are easily placed in a card and may be purchased in the amount of your choosing.

How about that person in your life who just can't get enough of Broadway musicals? The Media Theatre has them from September through May, with a live orchestra and professional performers. A gift card would be the ideal holiday gift for that person as they may choose what show or shows they wish to see and choose the date they wish to attend the theatre. All they need to do is call up and let the box office know they have a gift card. Perhaps they wish to see The Sound of Music, Wings, or Spring Awakening.  (What's up with that word "professional"? Well, what it means is that the actors in the shows at Media Theatre get paid a professional salary, weekly for doing what they do. Many of the actors are also members of Actors Equity Association, which is the Union of Professional Actors and Stage Managers in the United States. They must be paid a certain amount weekly in order to do what it is they do...entertain audiences! Those who are not members of AEA are also paid a competitive salary, weekly in order to enjoy their lives as actors on The Media Theatre stage.)

And how about that youngster or teen who enjoys learning more about being on stage but is not yet sure what type of class they wish to enroll in? A Media Theatre gift card makes perfect sense for your son, daughter, niece, or nephew who has the "acting bug." They may choose from acting or voice classes, or the new Glee Experience.

Also, The Media Theatre has the new Black Box Series coming up in February and March with smaller, intimate productions that don't require a cast of 15 or more people. Gift cards are available for these productions also. Titles include Love Letters which will star FOX29's wonderful morning anchor Sue Serio and Bill Vargus as a couple whose love lives on for years...through their notes and cards to each other.

So if you want to get the perfect gift for someone who doesn't want another item they must wash or iron, refrigerate or freeze, or place in a closet...think about a Media Theatre gift card. From youth to senior citizens--all ages will be able to find a memorable show or class at The Media Theatre due to your thoughtfulness at the holiday season.
