Pinocchio's Pizza Assists Three Little Pigs

Media Theatre's fun show says "Eat Pizza, Not Pigs!"

The Media Theatre's "Adventures of The Three Little Pigs" is a fun, contemporary take on the famous tale and Pinocchio's Pizza joins in the celebration of team work and being prepared for life's powerful winds that might "blow you down." It's on Saturdays at 11 a.m. through November 3.

After the first two piglets find their homes blown away by a Big Dad Wolf (who performs the humorous "Everything Goes Better With Bacon"), the third pig sibling serves Pinocchio's Pizza in his brick house as the Wolf approaches. They begin working together to create a stronger line of defense, while chanting about vegetable and fruit toppings on their pizza, which causes the Wolf to finally give in as he says "Eat pizza, not pigs!"

The musical for children ages 4 and up was written by mother-daughter team Laura and Tricia Kiehner who created last season's "Rapunzel: Here and Now" and "Sleeping Beauty" for The Media Theatre. The show maintains humor throughout as the lesson of being prepared is presented for audiences, with songs like "Work Comes First" and "Ready To Go."

Pinocchio's Pizza was happy to learn of its mention in the production, and supported the presentation.

Media's Denzel Thomas portrays the Big Dad Wolf in the show. 2012's Delco Idol Junior winner Gianni Palmarini, 12, of Aston is piglet Rib and shows off his vocal prowess in the number "La Vida Es Buena." He is joined onstage by Delco Idol Junior runner-up Dan Briglia, 13, of Media, who plays piglet Curly, and Elaina Fitzgerald, another Delco Idol Junior contestant, 9, of Media, who is piglet Pork Chop. All three are New School students at The Media Theatre.
