MEDIA THEATRE HOLDS AUDITIONS FOR 'JOSEPH' MUSICAL SEPTEMBER 17

The Media Music Theatre Company, the professional music theatre production company housed in The Media Theatre, will hold auditions for its upcoming holiday musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” Tuesday September 17 at 6pm. The production is directed by Artistic Director Jesse Cline and choreographed by Dann Dunn.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber family musical is based on the biblical story of Joseph and his brothers with a score that includes the well-known songs “Any Dream Will Do” and “Close Every Door”. High energy choreography is a highlight of the production that is perfect for the holidays. The Media Theatre is producing the Mega-Mix version which features an edge-of-your-seat dance after the finale combining each of the songs in a rousing routine.

The audition is an AEA performers call in which non-union performers will be seen as time permits. Those attending should be prepared to sing and to move. Prepare music in the style of the show or sing from the show’s score. Please have sheet music prepared and properly edited for the music director (Tom Fosnocht).
