After winning several Broadway World Awards in 2012, including Best Theatre Company, The Media Theatre received a total of 32 nominations for "Best of Philadelphia Theatre 2013", announced November 29.

The Media Theatre's 2013 nominations include 13 for "Mame", its co-production with Bucks County Playhouse. Its recent "Spamalot" received a total of 9 nominations, while "Dr. Dolittle" is on the docket with 3 and "Forever Plaid" has a chance at taking 2 honors.

Three of The Media Theatre's Special Events were nominated in that category: "In The Men's Room with Ann Crumb", "Justin Guarini In Concert: Annual Gala", and the phenomenally successful "Pinkalicious, The Musical". Another special event, "Death on The 16th Fairway", received a nod for Best Costumes.

Tony nominated actress Ann Crumb has two nominations under her belt: Supporting Actress in A Musical for "Spamalot" and Special Event for "In The Men's Room" in which she performed songs made famous by legendary actors and spoke of her experiences working with famous directors and actors.
