Media Theatre Wins Daily Times 2013 "Best Of" Award

The Media Theatre wins Delaware County Daily Times’ “BEST OF” Honor once again. The professional music theatre was named “Best Live Theatre” for 2013. The theatre has received this prestigious honor every year since 2001. It is an award voted by readers of The Daily Times.  Last year, visitors to Media Patch also voted The Media Theatre as “Best Theatre”.

Not simply a beautiful structure steeped in history, The Media Theatre is now known worldwide as the home of The Media Music Theatre Company, created by the visionary artistic direction of Mr. Jesse Cline. Cline and his staff of creative designers and directors have been awarded over 20 "Best Of" honors in the past 20 years, from prestigious media outlets such as Broadway World, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The New York Daily News, Main Line Today Magazine, DelcoNewsNetwork, and the Delaware County Daily Times.

Recently, the Media Theatre was recognized with an official proclamation by Delaware County Council for its cultural and economic impact on the region. The United States Congress honored the work of the State Street Miracles, the Media Theatre's intellectually challenged performance troupe, who have performed everywhere from the US Senate Rotunda to the Pennsylvania State Senate Chamber in Harrisburg as ambassadors for Media Music Theatre Company.

The current production is Monty Python’s “Spamalot” which runs through November 3.
