Media-Providence Friends School Students Mark Day of Peace
Media-Providence Friends School celebrated International Day of Peace recently.
celebrated the 12th Annual International Day of Peace recently with schools and organizations around the globe by participating in community building and reflecting about what peace means.
Each grade endeavored to create peace, literally, by assembling themselves into a peace symbol. Students also "played for peace," joining the "One Day One Goal: Peace" initiative that encourages the playing of thousands of friendly soccer games in communities in all 192 UN member states.
