Nativity Building, St. Mary's Spared in Blue Ribbon Commission Decision

Nativity BVM and St. Mary Magdalen schools are not one of the Catholic elementary schools that will be closing, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.

Nativity BVM School in Media Borough and St. Mary Magdalen school in Upper Providence are not one of the Catholic elementary schools that will be closing, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.

According to the Times, St. John Chrysostom in Wallingford will close, and those students will merge with Nativity at its facility next school year.

According to the Times, the following Delaware County Catholic elementary schools will close.

  • Annunciation BVM in Havertown
  • St. Cyril of Alexandria in East Lansdowne
  • Our Lady of Fatima in Secane
  • St. Gabriel in Norwood
  • Holy Savior-St. John Fisher in Linwood
  • St. Francis de Sales in Aston
  • St. John Chrysostom in Wallingford
