The management- and marketing-based curriculum emphasizes leadership, ethics and strategic thinking while building analytical and communication skills. Real-world examples bring relevance and immediacy to the coursework. With a low student-to-faculty ratio, students will benefit from small classes and individualized attention.

Students have the option of pursuing the MBA-bound track, with classes in accounting, finance, management, marketing and supply chain, may waive MBA core courses or can apply to the MBA program at Penn State Great Valley. Students in this track must have at least one year of work experience, which can include internships.

"So many adult learners want to complete a baccalaureate business degree,” said Veronica Godshalk, professor of management and program coordinator. "This program enables that, and provides opportunities to pursue an MBA at a local Penn State campus, so that relocation is not necessary. Students can succeed quickly and move on to the next step in their careers."
