RTM 2 Hour Delay; Penncrest No School

Penncrest High School is closed Wednesday, Oct. 31 due to a power outage but the remainder of the school district will see a two-hour delay.

Rose Tree Media School District announced Tuesday night that all the schools in the district would see a two-hour delay Wednesday, Oct. 31 with the exception of Penncrest High School, which will be closed.

Penncrest staff and students will not have school Oct. 31 due to a power outage at the building.

Media Patch reported that a large tree had brought down wires on Barren Road right near the high school on Tuesday. The wires were seen to be smoking and PECO was blocking the roadway at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

All other Rose Tree Media schools are on a two hour delay Wednesday, with staff reporting at their normal start time.
