Fans Say Goodbye to Charlie Manuel
Hundreds of fans attended an autograph signing at Granite Run Mall on Saturday.
Former Phillies Manager Charlie Manuel and Davy Lopes signed autographs at the Granite Run Mall on Saturday.
The previously-scheduled appearance allowed fans to say their goodbyes to Manuel after Friday's announcement he was let go from the team.
Manuel, who was the Phillies manager for eight and half seasons, signed more than 400 autographs for more than two hours on Saturday, according to the mall's Director of Marketing Aubrey Proud.
One Phillies fan told the Delaware County Times that he just wanted to shake Manuel's hand and thank him. Read more fan reactions here on the Delco Times.
