Locals Raise a Glass at Brandywine Valley Craft Brewers Fest

The block surrounding Iron Hill Brewery in Media was filled with over 20 local brewers and 1,200 happy drinkers Saturday for the 12th annual festival celebrating American Craft Beer Week.

Residents celebrated the . The weather was gorgeous and spirits were high throughout the event, which featured more than 20 local craft brewers, food, a designated drivers' tent for responsible citizens and live music by Chorduroy and Lord Jive.

The event highlights American Craft Beer Week, and all proceeds go to the Media Youth Center. Since its inception, this event has raised more than $120,000 for the center. Last year alone, the event raised a whopping $22,000.
