In observance of Fourth of July, celebrating America's 237th birthday, the following businesses are closed for the federal holiday. So while most government offices and some businesses may close on this day, some do not.

  • Middletown Township Building: Closed
  • Edgmont Township Building: Closed
  • Media Borough Building: Closed
  • Upper Providence Township Builidng: Closed Thursday and Friday

Beer/Liquor Stores

  • Wine & Spirits: Closed
  • County Beverage: Open 
  • Lima Beverage: Open 

Banks

  • Bryn Mawr Trust: Closed
  • United Savings Bank: Closed
  • Republic First Bank: Open until 1 p.m.
  • TD Bank: Open until 1 p.m.

Libraries

  • Media Upper Providence Free Library: Closed
  • Middletown Free Library: Closed Thursday and on Sundays throughout July and August 

Automotive

  • Department of Motor Vehicles: Closed Thursday
