Baseball Registration in the Media Area

Registration for two local, youth baseball clubs is fast approaching.

Now that the NHL is heading back on the ice, what do your thoughts turn to? Baseball, of course.

Registration for two local clubs is fast approaching.

Media Little League will have its registration at the Media Community Center on the following dates. Check their website for more details.

  • Saturday, Jan. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon
  • Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 26 from noon to 3 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Media Babe Ruth club has a different approach for registering kids from 13-15 years old. Contact the league directly through Ken Woznicki to receive the form. You can mail the form to the address on it, or drop it off at the Media Youth Center at the snack bar.

Both leagues have had tremendous success over the past few years. Just recently Media Little League's 10-year-old District 19 team won the PA state title, as well as the Mid-Atlantic title in Connecticut. Not to be outdone Media Babe Ruth's 15 year old team also advanced to the state title for its second year in a row.

Both organizations are extremely proud of these accomplishments and are really committed to the youth of the area. So as you shovel off the driveway, don't forget that baseball is right around the corner.

Ken Woznicki's email is ktml24@msn.com. Babe Ruth is a great organization.
