Nativity BVM Parish Kids Helping Others

Community Kids Lending a Helping Hand!

Nativity BVM Parish's Confirmation class held a day of service on Saturday, November 17.

Over 60 students from the Prep program as well as from Mother of Providence Regional School participated in a variety of service activities. The students collected over 70 boxes of cereal to benefit the Media Food Bank. The students also made casseroles which will feed 120 Philadelphia homeless men through St. John's Hospice.

The students assembled over 200 personal care bags which will be distributed to victims of Hurricane Sandy. And, each student made a Christmas card and gift which will be given to home bound parishioners.
