Nativity CYO's Turkey Drop

On Monday, November 18th, Nativity BVM's CYO program will be collecting turkeys to benefit the Media Food Bank. From 6pm-7pm they will be at the Parish Center, which is connected to the old Nativity school at the corner of Franklin and Gayley streets. If you have a few extra dollars, run down to your local food store and buy a frozen turkey or turkey breast. Our goal is to provide a turkey for each of the 60 families that use the Food Bank to feed their families. The Media Food Bank serves families that live in the Rose Tree area and are down on their luck. Due to federal cuts, food banks across the country are in need now more than ever before. The CYO program at St Mary Magdalen was kind enough to join Nativity in spreading the word in order to get as many turkeys as possible. To find out more about the Media Food Bank, their number is 484-442-0033.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
