  • Middletown Township Council meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday. Council will consider the adoption of an ordinance which would enact a Local Service Tax. Find the full agenda here
  • Thanksgiving is Thursday
  • Hanukkah begins at sundown on Wednesday and ends Dec. 5
  • Wednesday is the busiest travel day of the year and a Nor'easter may disrupt traffic.
  • Santa Arrives in Media at 5 p.m. on Black Friday
  • There is free parking in Media Borough at the Olive Street parking garage on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.
  • The Festival of Lights at Rose Tree Park kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday

  • Both the Media-Upper Providence and Middletown libraries are closed on Thursday and Friday.
  • If you’re an Upper Providence Township resident in need of assistance with gifts for you children this holiday season, please call us at 610-566-8445. Provide a gift list and the age of your children and we will handle the rest. All requests are completely confidential. 
  • All Rose Tree Media School District schools will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
  • Springton Lake Middle School is also closed on Wednesday, with an early dismissal on Tuesday. 
  • All four district elementary schools are also closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
