Media Borough Budget; RTM Meeting in the Week Ahead

What's going on this week in the greater Media area? Here's what we found but be sure to add anything we may have missed in the comments below.

• Media Borough Council meeting at 7 p.m. on Dec. 19. The 2014 budget will be presented. 
  
• Rose Tree Media Board of School Directors meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 19
• Edgmont Township Planning Commission meeting at 7 p.m. on Dec. 16 
• Carriage rides through the streets of downtown Media every Wednesday in December from 6-9 p.m. in front of the Delaware County Courthouse. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10.
  
• Take a gingerbread house class at 7 p.m. on Dec. 16 at Sinfully Delicious Bakery at, 107 South Monroe St. in Media. 
• Santa's Village from 3 to 7 p.m. every week day, noon to 4 p.m. on weekends at Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union in Media
• Delaware County Sheriff's Sale on Friday
• Discounted ski lift vouchers for area ski resorts are for sale at the Middletown Township Building, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  
• Area 1 Recycling Collection in Middletown Township on Dec. 18, 19, 20 and Yard Waste Collection on Dec. 19 
• The Festival of Lights at Rose Tree Park runs every evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. 
• Quizzo at 8 p.m. on Dec. 18 at Quotations
• Psychic Tuesday with Vee at 7 p.m. at Stephen's on State on Dec. 17
