Trash Collection for Christmas

All Media Patch municipal buildings will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Wednesday, Dec. 25.

Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule for area municipalities over the Christmas holiday:

Edgmont Township—Administrative offices will be closed both Dec. 24 and 25. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler.

Media Borough—Administrative offices will close early on Dec. 24 and remain closed on Dec. 25. Trash and recycling collections will not be affected as the holiday falls on a Wednesday, when there are no regular collections. There will be a bulk trash pickup on Dec. 26 however, the borough must be called 48 hours prior to pickup at 610-566-5210 x249.

Middletown Township—Administrative offices will close at noon on Dec. 24 and remain closed Dec. 25 and 26. Offices will reopen Dec. 27. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler. All Area 2 recycling collection days will occur one day after the normally scheduled day. Wednesday's collection will occur on Thursday, Thursday's collection will occur on Friday, and Friday's collection will occur on Saturday, Dec. 28.  

Upper Providence Township—Administrative offices will be closed both Dec. 24 and 25. Trash and recycling will not be collected on Dec. 25. If your collection falls on that day, it will be picked up on the next scheduled collection day.
