Trash Collection for New Years Holiday
Some Media Patch municipalities will see a trash collection change during the New Years holiday.
Most Media Patch municipal buildings will be closed for the New Years holiday on Jan. 1.
Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule for area municipalities over New Years:
Edgmont Township—Administrative offices will be closed on Jan. 1. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler.

Media Borough—Administrative offices will close early on Dec. 31 and remain closed on Jan. 1. Trash and recycling collections will not be affected as the holiday falls on a Wednesday, when there are no regular collections.
Middletown Township—Administrative offices will be closed Jan. 1. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler. All Area 2 recycling collection days will occur one day after the normally scheduled day. Wednesday's collection will occur on Thursday, Thursday's collection will occur on Friday, and Friday's collection will occur on Saturday, Jan. 4.

Upper Providence Township—Administrative offices will be closed Jan. 1. Trash and recycling will not be collected on Jan. 1. If your collection falls on that day, it will be picked up on the next scheduled collection day.
