• Media-Upper Providence Library Book Sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday
• Delaware County Access to Jobs Expo at Springfield Country Club on Oct. 24

• Psychic Tuesday with Vee at 7 p.m. at Stephen's on State on Oct. 22
• Live a Healthy Life Workshop from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Surrey in Media. The workshop for adults with diabetes, cardiac or pulmonary disease, arthritis, anxiety or any other ongoing health condition can learn how to communicate effectively with doctors and family, eat well, relax, manage pain and gain control of your life. The free 6-week workshop for adults age 60 and older who live in Delaware County will be offered every Wednesday through Oct. 30. • Edible Art at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 22 at Media-Upper Providence Library. Create pictures with candy, cereal, marshmallows and more and then eat it when you’re finished. For ages 11 to 18. Registration Required.
  
• Middletown Township Area 1 Recycling Days on Oct. 23-25
• Middletown Township Zoning Hearing Board at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23. The board will hear a special exception regarding the replacement of a nonconforming freestanding sign. Find the full agenda here.

• Cake Pops Decorating at Middletown Free Library from 6 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 22. Space limited, registration required. 
• Girls Night Out with Jana’s Hair Studio at Middletown Free Library from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 24. Jana’s Hair Studio will trim bangs and paint fingernails for girls in grades K-5 for free and the girls get a free beauty product to take home, too.
