It's a busy week and weekend in and around Media Patch. See what's going on.

There are lots of things happening this weekend. It's a weekend full of community events. For all those Phillies fans out there, head to the Granite Run Mall to get autographs of the Phils top players. Celebrate PathWays 35th Anniversary at a gala or Walk to Defeat ALS.

Christ Church Media Starfest Bazaar 
  • When: Friday, Nov. 1, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the Preview Party and Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
  • Where: Christ Church Media,  311 S. Orange Street Media
  • Why Go: Shop early for the holidays and check out the jewelry, baked goods, books, decorations, children's holiday gift table and more. 

PathWays to the Stars

  • When: Friday, Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Where: The Franklin Institute
  • Why Go: Celebrate PathWays 35th Anniversary as they recognize their three 2013 Trailblazer Honorees and retiring president and CEO Carol Goertzel. The annual gala will feature a cocktail reception, live and silent auction, dinner, live musical entertainment and awards ceremony.

Jack and Beanstalk
  • When:  Friday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: DeMoss Center, Delaware County Christian School, 462 Malin Rd., Newtown Square 
  • Why Go: With all the familiar ingredients in the mix, plus fresh and witty dialogue, this play will be a rediscovered delight for audiences and entire families.

Holiday Bazaar
  • When: Sunday, Nov. 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Where: Temple Sholom in Broomall, 55 Church Lane, Broomall
  • Why Go: Find jewelry, artwork, Judaica, books, home goods, toys, scarves, crafts, handbags, a raffle and more.
  • Cost: Open to the public.
Walk to Defeat ALS
  • When: Sunday, Nov. 3, registration at 10 a.m., walk at 11 a.m.
  • Where: Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia
  • Why Go: Join the more than 6,000 friends, family, and people living with Lou Gehrig's Disease in a walk to defeat ALS. Help get to the goal of raising more than $600,000 to cover all the bases in the fight against ALS through research, advocacy and patient services.

Sugarloft Crafts Festival

  • When: Nov. 1-3
  • Where: Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, 100 Station Avenue, Oaks
  • Why Go: More than 250 of the most celebrated artisans from around the country will show and sell their handcrafted work. Purchase one-of-a-kind holiday gifts including functional and decorative pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, leather, wood, metal, furniture, home accessories, photography and fine art. Visitors can also sample and purchase gourmet foods, watch demonstrations from master craftspeople, enjoy live music and participate in interactive children’s entertainment.

Bank of America's Museums on Us

  • Why Go: Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders can take in a cultural experience with free admission this weekend to African American Museum in Philadelphia, National Constitution Center, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), and Philadelphia Museum of Art.
