The Delaware County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals serves all 49 municipalities in the county and provides care to more than 8,000 animals a year. This non-profit runs almost entirely on private donations. As well as caring for animals, the SPCA does community outreach, animal rescue and spay/neuter programs. The SPCA is always trying to find foster or adoptive homes for all of its animals.
