We love the food at Desert Rose and are very glad they are here. Owners are helpful and friendly. Only quibble (and it's minor) is that sometimes it is hard to cut up the food with the plastic cutlery provided. Everything we've had is delicious and quite reasonably priced - definitely worth the trip to the quieter end of State Street!

AMAZING! The braised short rib is the best thing I have eaten in a long time. Jason and Natali are super friendly and everything I have tried has been great. I also had the opportunity to enjoy a special four course dinner meno on the night of jazz fest and everything there was also to die for. Definitely check this place out.

Just love this quaint restaurant and market. I am hooked on the fresh and different salads along with the homemade hummus and whole wheat pita. It is outstanding!!!!! and kind to your waistline. The chef - owner and his wife are so friendly and helpful in helping you select your meal choices. That is a wonderful and welcomed change in attitude from most business in today's face paced world.

I love the food at Desert Rose. The sandwiches and salads are amazingly flavorful. The Sabich is my favorite. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

My Co-Workers and I have ordered from the Desert Rose on numerous occasions. Everyone loved what they ordere!!. I had the Chicken Schwarmara over Hummus and it was out of this world. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!

Excellent and very different! Casual and friendly with uncommon menu items. Very tasty but not overseasoned. New young couple looking to serve what people really want. Very open to suggestions . Experienced chef who puts his customers ahead of his ego. Stop in; you'll love Jason and Natali. New fantastic pita bread and desserts.
