Media's first Baptist Church is rich with history, the original members having first gotten together in 1872, although the building it currently inhabits was built in 1909. Its current pastor is the Reverend Robert Beverly. It offers childcare during morning services. Kids from first to sixth grades are welcome to join the first half of the service and then head out for Junior Church activities, although Sunday evenings plan more for children of all ages.
