Named for the Lenni Lenape tribe of Native Americans who once inhabited this region, Lenni Heights is one of three fire companies based out of one building in Middletown Township. It also responds to fire calls for parts of Aston and Edgmont Townships, and part of Chester Heights Borough. The vehicular arsenal is comprised of one pumper truck, one pumper-rescue truck, one brush truck, one light rescue unit, one utility-command unit, two inflatable boats, one aluminum boat and a trailered collapse unit. It also keeps in touch with its roots by restoring two antique firefighting vehicles, an antique pumper and a hand-drawn cart.
