Middletown Fire Company - Station 50
The newly renovated fire house, completed in 1996, has four engine bays, a communication room, an engineer's room, small kitchen, recreation room and a multi-purpose community room. Along with fighting fires, the department also offers fire prevention tips and community outreach programs. The township's first motorized firefighting apparatus was purchased in 1922, although volunteer residents were fighting fires long before that, according to township lore.
