Alert Issued For Missing Teen

Montgomery and Chester counties have issued an alert for a teen believed to be endangered.

Both Montgomery and Chester counties have sent out alerts about a missing 16-year-old girl believed to be an endangered runaway. Her name is Jazmine Denby and she is from Norristown. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children says she may go by the nickname Jazzy and that she went missing on last Tuesday. She is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Photos show her wearing glasses. Man Uses Counterfeit Bill at CVS, Police Say

Media Police were dispatched to the CVS at 295 E. Baltimore Ave. at about 10:16 a.m. on May 3 for a report of a theft, according to Media Police Chief Martin Wusinich. A CVS manager told police that a man has been passing counterfeit bills at several CVS locations and the store was notified by its bank that one of the deposits contained a $50 bill that had been bleached and reprinted, according to Wusinich. This counterfeit transaction was found to have occurred at about 7:10 p.m. on May 1. The black man, wearing a black baseball cap and black vest, made a purchase for $3.14, paid with the counterfeit bill and then received the change, according to Wusinich. Wrong Way Crash on I-476 Kills 2

A vehicle was traveling the wrong way down the Blue Route in the early morning hours Friday, police say.

  UPDATE: Police have identified the deceased men as Kent Michael Gans, 50, of Philadelphia and Paul R. Wallendorf, 62, of Delaware City. Del.   Two people are dead following a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 476 early Friday morning. According to Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks, Gans, from Philadelphia and Wallendorf, from Delaware City, Del. were pronounced dead at the scene. All lanes of the highway were closed for several hours, from Exit 5 (U.S. Route 1) to Exit 9 (Broomall), while crews cleared the crash and it reopened around 7 a.m. Friday, according to NBCPhiladelphia.com.
