White Christmas could occur as Santa comes to town.
It might be light, but this Christmas could be white. With a 90 percent chance of precipitation, Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 could see some snowfall this year. The National Weather Service predicts a mix of rain, snow and sleet through 4 a.m. Dec. 25. Temperatures will hover around 33 degrees, allowing some chance of Christmas snow. Even if the rain changes to flurries, little to no snow accumulation is expected in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Visit weather.gov for more info on your local forecast.

In observance of the Christmas holiday, most government buildings will be closed both Monday and Tuesday and some local businesses will be closed, while some will have limited hours. Some Media Patch municipalities will see a trash collection change during the Christmas holiday.
Media Patch municipal buildings will be closed for the Christmas holiday on both Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25. Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule for area municipalities over the Christmas holiday: Edgmont Township—Administrative offices will be closed both Monday and Tuesday. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler. Media Borough—Administrative offices will be closed both Monday and Tuesday. Trash and recycling will not be picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 25 and will be collected on Wednesday, Dec. 26 instead. Monday, Dec. 24 collections will remain the same.
