Get a Letter From Santa for Your Child

Thanks to a very special U.S. Postal Service program, "Santa" will reply to children who mail him their Christmas wish lists this holiday season.

Every year, millions of children sit down to make a wish list for Santa, hoping he will make all of their Christmas dreams come true. But what if Santa actually wrote back? The United States Postal Service is now accepting "Letters From Santa," a program that allows any person to play Santa by sending a letter signed by Saint Nick to any child. According to a postal service news release, "The 'Letters From Santa' program helps parents fulfill the dreams of their own children." Instructions to send a letter from Santa: TELL US: Do your children or children in your family plan on writing a letter to Santa this year?

Too Early For Holiday Music?

Patch asks when Christmas jingles jive with you.

It feels like we've barely put away Halloween costumes and decorations and already the music is starting. I was picking up some non-Christmas things at Toys R Us the other day and what should I hear over the speaker system, but holiday music, mixed with other tunes. Local radio stations are pulling out the holiday favorites. But is it too early for B101 and BEN-FM to "Rock Around the Christmas Tree," if Tom the Turkey hasn't been properly stuffed? Is it too early for Christmas carols? What's your favorite Christmas carol? Do you prefer the holiday classics or more modern Christmas tunes? Let us know you think by voting in our poll and sharing your comments.

Eagles Items Top Sports Fans' Christmas Lists

DeSean Jackson and Michael Vick were on local sports fans' minds this holiday season.

Springfield—'Tis the season to be shopping, and we checked in with Tailgate City, a sporting goods store in the Springfield Mall, to see what the hot sellers were in December. Owner Kevin Rieck was kind enough to give us the run-down (Yes, that was a baseball joke). "Anything Eagles-related is popular right now," said Rieck in a pre-Christmas interview.
