Lots of news filled the pages of Media Patch in February. Ellen DeGeneres' big surprise at Karma Salon topped the charts in a big way. The article was the most viewed in February and is also the most viewed for the year, to date. Two fires in the area, on Providence Road and Ridley Creek Road, were among the top stories, along with our Cutest Couple Contest and the debut of the Pennsylvania Lottery commercial that was filmed in Media. Dominic’s Hand Carved Roast Beef & Roast Pork, is expected to open inside the mall this month. Media Patch's most-read stories of 2012 reflect tragedy, new business and Hurricane Sandy. The top story of 2012 was the announcement of a federal investigation of Springton Lake Middle School's principal. Readers speculated why he is being investigated but as we enter 2013 we still don't know the answer. The opening of My Three Sons Hot Dogs was a very close second, for the most-read stories of 2012, in fact only slightly shy of hitting the No. 1 spot.
