The new Azie Southeast, formerly Sang Kee Noodle Bowl, has opened in Edgmont Square Shopping Center.
Azie Southeast has opened its doors in Edgmont Square Shopping Center. The former Sang Kee Noodle Bowl has been revamped and the menu updated following the closing of Sang Kee in late August. The new menu offers small plates, Azie hoagies and of course Azie's signature fried rice. A few other menu items include: thai chicken wings, curry fries, pad thai, lo mein, wonton soup, filet tips and pork chops. A $10 lunch box is another option which includes a choice of soup, choice of chicken, filet tips, fish or tofu and rice and broccoli. (See the attached lunch menu). Sang Kee Noodle Bowl in Edgmont Square Shopping Center will close its doors Aug. 29 and reopen as Azie Southeast.
Sang Kee Noodle Bowl, which has been open for about one year, will soon close its doors and be revamped into Azie Southeast. Sang Kee, owned by Dr. Win Somboonsong and Sultida Somboonsong of Win Signature Restaurants and located in Edgmont Square Shopping Center, will close on Aug. 29. The restaurant, which will maintain ownership, will close for a week to make some decor changes and train staff on the new menu and will then have a soft opening on Sept. 5, according to Azie Southeast General Manager Byung Lee. Azie Southeast's grand opening will be Sept. 19. Sang Kee's fifth location opens on Aug. 12 in Edgmont Square.
This Friday, Edgmont Township gains a new restaurant—Sang Kee Noodle Bowl—the fifth location of Michael Chow's well-loved Chinese eatery. Owned and operated by Win and Sutida Somboonsong of Win Signature Restaurants—owners of Media's Azie Restaurant and Newtown Square's Teikoku—Sang Kee Noodle Bowl will feature many of the traditional menu items from Michael Chow's other restaurant locations.
