Lots of news filled the pages of Media Patch in March. It was dental hygiene that topped the charts for the month. Police were searching for a woman on the lam for allegedly stealing $16,000 worth of toothbrushes. This story not only far surpassed March's other most-read stories, it is also the most read Media Patch story of all time. Rounding out the rest of March, charges that were filed against Springton Lake's former principal was among the top stories, along with an armed Elwyn Pharmacy robbery and the announcement of a new pizza place coming to Media Borough. The article was the most viewed in February and is also the most viewed for the year, to date. Two fires in the area, on Providence Road and Ridley Creek Road, were among the top stories, along with our Cutest Couple Contest and the debut of the Pennsylvania Lottery commercial that was filmed in Media.
