The former Springton Lake Middle School principal who was charged with possession of child pornography in March after an investigation by the U.S. Postal Service pleaded guilty Friday. Troy Czukoski, 42, of Exton, pleaded guilty to possessing more than 150, but fewer than 300, images of children engaging in sexually explicit conduct, according to the United States Attorney's Office. U.S. District Court Judge Legrome D. Davis scheduled a sentencing hearing for Aug. 12. The Rose Tree Media Board of School Directors president made a statement regarding the recent charges filed against Dr. Troy Czukoski at Thursday's legislative meeting. Last week, federal charges of possession of child pornography were filed against the former Springton Lake Middle School principal. At a special meeting on March 12, the board accepted Czukoski's resignation effective March 5. He had been hired July 1, 2012. Rose Tree Media School District Superintendent James Wigo said the investigation remains sealed by federal officials and no new information has been released. Harrison replaces Dr. Troy Czukoski, who was placed on administrative leave in October due to a federal investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office and Postal Service.
