How long do you leave holiday decorations up?
Putting up holiday decorations can be a time-consuming process and it’s nice to get to enjoy them before they come down again, which can be an equally time-consuming process. When I was a child, our tradition was to put up our Christmas tree on Christmas Eve, which meant we didn’t take the tree down right away. We decorate the house before Christmas Eve, but everything came down together and was put away to be stored at the same time. Last year, we decorated and put our tree up right after Thanksgiving, so we didn’t mind cleaning up on New Year’s, since we had already had time to enjoy our decorations. Mildred that's great..I used to be like that keeping mine up a long time--well not that long lol! and do love seeing a lit tree just about year round if I could! and most all of my $$$ and tons of xmas decor come from Waterloo! I'm glad it is in Exton now! I need nothing and have so much it's insane for xmas! Waterloo was a bad habit! but everything is higher end looking nothing junky....hubby … more ›
