Location:  Cecil County, Maryland

Year in Business: 10 years

How Long at Farmers Market:
First year

What is Belle's Acres:
It's a hobby farm. I raise miniature beef cattle and have a few goats and I milk them and make soaps and lotions from the goat's milk. Everything is homemade from scratch. We have healing lotions, all-natural shampoo bars and all-natural deodorant and shaving kits.

How Did You Get Started:
It's something I always wanted to do. I read books on how to do it and just started reading and reading. I made soap in my head, in my sleep, all the time and then I just fell in love with it.

What's in Season:
The fall and holiday scents are out now, Perfectly Pumpkin, Frankincense and Myrrh, Spiced Cranberry and Gingerbread. When the weather starts to get cold, you can't walk away from putting the lotion on your hands, let me tell you. It is that good. It doesn't clog pores and stops your hands from cracking. It's truly good stuff.

Most Popular Item:
The best selling scent is Sweet Orange in soap and lotion.

Why Bring Your Goods Here:
I just started doing farmers markets this year. I had been doing craft shows for 10 years and I wanted to try farmers markets.

Best Part of Farmers Market:
I enjoy getting fresh bread and produces from all the other vendors.

Shameless Plug:
Tinicum Township Farmers' Market and two markets in Baltimore too. Find them on Facebook too and give them a 'Like' or shop online at Etsy.
