Dorothy Simpson was honored on her 101st birthday at a party Aug. 6 at Fair Acres, Delaware County’s skilled care facility where she has lived since moving from Garnet Valley in February. Delaware County Council Vice Chairman Mario J. Civera Jr. presented Mrs. Simpson with a commemorative plaque on behalf of County Council.
