Food Bank Benefit Concert!

Local Bands Make Music & Money for the Media Food Bank

For 4 years running, local musicians, in partnership with the Unitarian Church in Media has been supporting the Media Food Bank's Holiday Grocery Certificate Program via an annual benefit concert.

This year's Food Bank Benefit Concert will be held on Saturday November 16th at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Rose Tree Road. Doors open at 7 pm and a minimum donations of $10 is requested.

Four local music groups are volunteering their talents this year: Me 3 (retro style acoustic vocals) Al Bien & Friends (singer-songwriters & owner Springfield Music), Jean Therapy (long time hosts of the benefit) and headlining will be the incredibly talented Chris Sparks & the Krupiak Bros. (AKA: The Cactus Hearts).

With the reduction of Federal Food Stamp subsidies, this holiday season is predicted to be one of the most challenging for poor families in Delaware County. Come on out and bring some friends, support the mission, support the artists, and enjoy a great evening with your community.

If you cannot come, consider a donation. Online tickets & sponsorship donations may be purchased here.

The Unitarian church is located at 145 W. Rose Tree Road, Media, PA. The venue is BYOB, accessible, and LGBTQ Welcoming. www.uucdc.org
