INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE 2013 / MEDIA

The 2nd annual Peace Day event will begin at 11:45, next Saturday, September 21. Leading people into the Moment of Silence, at 12 Pm, will be April Leffler doing a moving T'ai Chi Chih Meditation. The moment of silence will be observed in the Mall and all along State Street...it is one minute of silence. A moment observed worldwide.
Important to know is that the event is in two parts...day and night.
The day event will continue with Drumming, led by Christine Campbell, followed by the International Children's Choir, led by Pauline Houston-McCall.
These performances should take us to 3PM.

Bringing us into our evening at 6:30 is Rob Kaufman, with a Didgeridoo Meditation, followed with a few words by Denise Yocco about the event. The rest of the evening will include performances by Tibetan Dancers, husband and wife Pauline Houston-McCall and Rob McCall as Spiritual Thunder. There will be poems and stories...and more.

The event is free and all out doors. There will be merchandise tables for the support of the event. And tip jars to show your appreciation for the performances.

So hope as many as possible can be present in Media for Peace Day 2013. Bring your heart and a light spirit for this is a day where we pause  and create a sacred space for peace.

For any who may wish to participate... volunteer...lend a hand, please contact Denise Yocco @, peacedaymedia2013@gmail.com
