What's Open Over Thanksgiving Holiday

A look at business and government buildings that will be open on Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving.

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, all government buildings will be closed both Thursday and Friday but some local businesses will be open or offer limited hours.

Check here to see if you will also have a trash collection change over the holiday.

The following businesses will be open on Thursday and/or Friday, Nov. 28 and 29 unless otherwise stated.

  • U.S. Post Office: Open Friday, Closed Thursday
  • UPS Store: Open Friday, Closed Thursday

Beer and Liquor Stores

  • County Beverage: Closed at 4 p.m. Thursday, Open Friday
  • Lima Beverage: Closed at 4 p.m. Thursday, Open Friday
  • Wine and Spirits: Closed Thursday, Open Friday

Banks

  • Most bank branches are closed Thursday and open Friday

Grocery and Convenience Stores

Shopping

  • Granite Run Mall : Closed Thursday, Open Friday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. (anchor stores and restaurant hours may vary)
  • Delaware County SPCA: Open at 10 a.m. on Friday with $20.13 adoption fees from 10 a.m. to noon on most animals.
  • Springfield Mall: Open 8 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, Open midnight to 10 p.m. on Friday

Movies

  • AMC Granite Run 8 Movie Theater: Open Thursday and Friday
  • Regal Edgmont Square 10: Open Thursday and Friday
  • AMC Marple 10 Movie Theater: Open Thursday and Friday
