2013 PA Teacher of the Year Announced

Two Rose Tree Media School District teachers were among the finalists.

An 11th grade, Jefferson County English teacher beat out two Rose Tree Media School District teachers for Pennsylvania's 2013 Teacher of the Year.

Ryan Devlin, of Brockway Area Junior-Senior High School in Jefferson County, was presented the award Tuesday, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.

Only 12 teachers across the state were finalists, and Rose Tree Media School District was one of only two districts with more than one teacher listed as a finalist.
